i feel pithy

I would love to share some more photos of our northern adventure, but my head is not working.

I felt perfectly fine when I woke up.

I felt really fine after my coffee date with my friend, Ceesa.

I felt so fine I came home, loaded the kids up in the car for a trip to Trader Joe's.

Somewhere between the chocolate covered blueberries and the peanut butter filled pretzel nuggets my head started to hurt.

I wanted to go home to get out of the blasted heat and humidity, but I had promised my three lovely kiddos a quick side-trip to Lemon Tree

Halfway through my Hawaiian Pineapple (topped with granola) I began day-dreaming of frogs.

Specifically, the act of pithing a frog

Really?  Did you just click on that link and think you would find a YouTube video of a person pithing a frog?  Wow.  You must think I am cRaZy.  But, if you DID click on the link . . . . . wasn't it funny?!

Why was I thinking about such a strange thing?

I visualized the needle going into MY head and relieving the enormous pressure that had suddenly vice-gripped my skull.

Yeah, good times.

So I had to settle for coming home, laying down for a bit and hoping the Tylenol would relieve some of the pressure.

No go.

And THAT is why I will not be sharing vacation photos today.

Maybe tomorrow?

Try this... 1 Aleve Sinus and headache + 2 Excedrin migraines and some caffene. Works every time :)

Hope you feel better.

Oh, I so remember the class in which I had to pith a frog...I couldn't do it! I literally had to leave the room until all the frogs were 'done.'
I hear you on the headache! One gripped me last night from out of no where. I have found that Aleve works better for me...after taking lots of Advil my body built up a resistance and Tylenol never even touches my headaches.
Feel better!! ;) HUGS!

hahahaha! So you aren't feeling all glittery unicorns and rainbows? ; )

I'm sorry your head hurts. I get migraines, and I always think if I could stick a screwdriver through my eye into my head, it might relieve the pressure. I get it. Pinching the bridge of my nose helps temporarily (along with ibu and caffeine) : )
Hoping you are feeling better this evening. : )

Take 1 motrin, put an ice pack behind the nape of your neck and call me in the morning! Well, maybe after 9 since I like to sleep in.LOL and, that's Eastern time!

Pithing a frog.....that's just disgusting!!!! I remember doing that in school. We found 2 toads so far this summer. One large one and one small one. I think they're male and female and I'm sure we'll find that out when we see tadpoles. Anyways... they have found a home in our old fish aquarium downstairs.

Hope you feel better soon!
