lest you think

Lest you think Ellie has all the fun doing math.

Lest you think my oldest, Maddi, doesn't really exist due to lack of photos
(she throws her hands up to her face and turns when a camera is aimed in her general direction)

Lest you think Ellie's Type 1 Diabetes is well managed and 'under control' or 'getting better' . . . this is what the last 2 days have looked like.

Lest you think I am going to go cRaZy, this verse was whispering in my ear upon waking this morning.

Sorry you have had so many issues with the pod; I know you are not alone with these pod failures. Omni needs to find a way to test the pods before use, because it is very frustrating to have to do more site changes on a young child. Should not happen, just a glitch in the Omni pod system. There have been set problems with other pumps. Fortunately, the ketone problem caused by total lack of insulin happens rarely too. You handled everything beautifully and all is now well. Here's to an uneventful rest of the month.... you have earned it! I believe God does watch over these children and they can turn to him and they will have to at some point.

Somedays, it's only because of the strength from God that I get up and put one foot in front of the other. Hang in there! Praying for better days ahead.
